My Artecnica Light and other ones i can't afford..

I couldn't resist buying the Artecnica Midsummer Fading pendant light when i saw it on gilt groupe a couple months ago and i refused to install it in my room until i put my piles of clothes away and got everything tidied up for it's grand hanging. So yesterday was the day! It was fun assembling it but a little tricky because it's these huge layers of a thin paper-like material and they tangle together easily with the cut outs and the draping is sort of up to you which is neat.

A little behind in my postings...

i forget i have this blog sometimes :) but anyways here are photo's from my friend Taylor Martins fashion show, they are all her photos i stole from her however i helped her out and did the hair and makeup for her runway show and modeled. It's crazy to think i was sewing her clothes for her when i was in college for fashion design and now here she is not even a design major getting first place in the colleges fashion show, guess it's good i dropped out to go to beauty school! anyways here are some pics from the show enjoy!

My new electra gypsy cruiser!

So it seems i make big purchases-gifts to myself- on my birthday. Last year it was my new 2010 kia soul, this year its dropping over $600 on a bicycle when im pretty sure the last time i had road a bige before then was when i was 12. So happy 22nd birthday to me here are many pictures of the new love of my life. riding her to work for the first time today!

I love these, they actually go with ALOT of the stuff i have and they are fairly comfortable ( a little bit of pain after a full day of shopping at the walden galleria haha). They get alot a compliments though so they deffinently arn't the shoes to wear if you're avoiding people and conversations and being social in general (which sometimes i am). SO anyways here's just a fe pics of the shoes it seems everyone either loves them or hates them.

Fairy fashion

I went to my ex-college town Oneonta NY to spend halloween with my bestfriend taylor and my boyrfriend jim and her boyfriend josh. anyways turns out we arn't quite the party animals anymore because we ended up staying in most of the night, not having much of any costumes really, and making little fairy outfits out of this fairy fashion kit josh got taylor at a shop downtown. check them out though! pretty cool! the ones with legs i made and the ones without are taylors.

Hair I've done

I'm still kind of new to the hair industry.. or well, REALLY new.. so i don't have that much work that i think is really at like a respectable industry "professional" level. But i think I'm way ahead of myself considering what a short amount of time I've been doing this (if we aren't counting my whole life doing everyone i knows hair for them...) and these are some pictures of styles i I've done that i feel deserve to be seen! haha

Best shoes ever!

These are my favorite shoes (if you see me frequently in real life you probably already know that) I also have a pair in a darker brown suede and i wear one of the two almost every day. I found them on sale for under $25 at bakers in the walden galleria mall in buffalo. They were a great find. My only complaint is that some of the strings have came undone, but i just tie them back together it makes a little customization i guess. And i dont mind at all that they look like they might be made for a 5 year old...
